Newhampton Road East. This carefully planned 1.5metre wide advisory lane through the new splitter islands was burnt off on the day it was painted because it confused Wolverhampton motorists.

The Birmingham Main Canal / NCN81 goes under the railway station car park in a tunnel in Wolverhampton. It's closed in with no escape. More access is needed to the towpath.
The NCN 81 sign on Broad Street Bridge points directly to Birmingham - straight over the parapet into the canal !!! There is no access to the Brum-bound towpath at all in the direction in which the sign is pointing.

NCN Route 81 on the Shropshire Union Canal at the Droveway. If you cross over the canal bridge you can ride along Wayside towards Reapers Walk and Dovecotes school.
End of Ryehope Walk, Pendeford at Pendeford Business Park looking towards the Birmingham Midshires Bank HQ. This is a great little piece of route (not shown on any map) between Pendeford and Coven Lane making it ideal for country rides.
